These photographs are from a project I am working on with the Kilnsey Estate, North Yorkshire. The estate is set in a beautiful location where a distinctive overhanging rock towers above the road leading to the Northern Dales. The Kilnsey Estate had connections with the Monks from Fountains Abbey who farmed this area in the 12th century. Venetian traders found their way here to trade with the monks.
